Wildcats prevail in battle of unbeatensFROM STAFF REPORTS The Wildcats earned a 4-1 decision over Northwest Cabarrus on Monday in a battle of unbeaten teams. Tied 1-1 after 20 minutes, the Wildcats scored three unanswered goals — including two in the final two minutes — to clinch the win over the Trojans (9-1-1). Caroline Moffett, Katelyn Custer, Alyssa Retundie and Sarah Tang all scored for Lake Norman (8-0-1). Custer, Moffett, Alexa del Tufo and Lauren Vawter added assists. Bookmarkz |
