Wildcats pull out a tight victoryFROM STAFF REPORTS The Wildcats (7-0-1 overall, 5-0 North Piedmont 3A) fell behind 1-0 on a goal in the 52nd minute, but Alexa del Tufo responded two minutes later off an assist from Caroline Moffett. Moffett added the other tally in the 63rd minute thanks to an assist from Sarah Tang. Corinne Roberts and Mollie Zimmer split time in goal for Lake Norman. The Wildcats held a 25-1 advantage in shots on goal against the Falcons, but struggled to make the most of their scoring opportunities. Bookmarkz |
