Wildcats pull out close win over GreyhoundsFROM STAFF REPORTS
Abbey Hines fed Elizabeth Croom for the game-winner in the seventh minute. Wildcats goalkeeper Mollie Zimmer recorded three saves for the shutout. Statesville keeper Natalie Stein had nine saves. The win gave Lake Norman a season sweep over the Greyhounds (9-7-2, 9-6 NPC). The Wildcats won the first meeting 3-0. Lake Norman also moved closer to clinching the conference title.
