Lake Norman wrestler Harrison Honeycutt attained All-American status on March 27 when he finished fourth in the Freshman Nationals Tournament held in Virginia Beach, Va.
Honeycutt was one of only two North Carolina high schoolers to garner such distinction.
In his first season with the Wildcats, the 189-pound Honeycutt finished fifth in the state in 3A.
This month, Honeycutt and a few other Lake Norman wrestlers will attempt to qualify for the team that will represent North Carolina in the high school freestyle and Greco-Roman championships in Fargo, N.D.
