Wildcats win battle of NPC unbeatensFrom staff reports MOORESVILLE — Lake Norman solidified itself as the team to beat in the North Piedmont 3A with a 7-2 win over Mooresville. The Wildcats (11-0, 5-0 North Piedmont 3A) won five of six singles matches, with Andrew McKinnon winning 6-0, 6-2 on the No. 1 court and Trey McKee winning 6-1, 6-0 on the No. 2 courts. McKinnon, McKee, Timmy Johnson and Matt Dowell all won in singles and doubles play. The Blue Devils (6-3 overall, 3-1 NPC) got an impressive effort from Nic Norment, who won in both singles and doubles. Bookmarkz |
