Mooresville, LN face football foes

Something has to give for both the varsity football teams from Mooresville and Lake Norman tonight.

When both resume their respective schedules, each will be looking to hopefully favorably break existing ties with their foes that currently exist within the North Piedmont Conference standings.

Of the two, the game involving Mooresville’s Blue Devils may understandably occupy top billing.

Devils keep LN tennis at bay

Mooresville’s gain was Lake Norman’s loss on the North Piedmont Conference tennis trail earlier this week.

With the two nearest North Piedmont Conference neighbors meeting for their one and only time during the course of the regular season, the at-home Lady Blue Devils got back on their winning path and kept the Lady Wildcats on their current losing one courtesy of a 7-2 triumph on the MHS courts.

Wildcats spoil Mooresville soccer’s turf debut
