Jordan comes up big as Raiders hold on for win

After lining a shot to left field that took an awkward bounce and rolled to the wall, North Iredell’s Tyler Jordan let out an audible groan when coach Matthew Poole held him at third base.

“I wanted to keep rolling,” Jordan said with a grin.

He got his chance seconds later as an error on a relay throw allowed him to score.
