Mooresville baseball a top seed in Catawba Classic

Mooresville High will be the top seed for the 18th annual Catawba County Easter Baseball Classic, which opens with four games on Monday at the Legion Fairgrounds Field.

The Blue Devils will play eighth-seeded Newton-Conover at 5 p.m. on Monday, after No. 7 Maiden faces No. 2 St. Stephens at noon and No. 6 Bunker Hill battles No. 3 Hickory at 2:30 p.m.
